Artefact was born from my family’s long connection with bakery equipment. My father has worked for decades as a technician, repairing and maintaining professional bakery machinery, and I grew up surrounded by these machines and their stories.
During the pandemic, I began restoring equipment that had been collected over the years. This became the starting point for Artefact.
I wanted to create a space where industrial heritage could remain part of everyday life. The old bakery machines live alongside original elements such as the work counter, shelves and old tray trolleys, all contributing to the character of the space.
I combined this heritage with my passion for specialty coffee, creating a place where coffee, technology, craftsmanship and family history meet.
